The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, August 9, 2019, features Jack vowing to make Lola’s dream come true, Nate taking Elena’s advice, Summer doing whatever she feels like, Victoria warning Adam — and Chelsea shocking him.
Break It Up!
It was a heck of a party as Summer (Hunter King) threw cold water on Abby (Melissa Ordway) in the middle of a fight, and Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Theo (Tyler Johnson) came to blows.
Lola (Sasha Calle) took the mic and ordered everyone to break it up. Jack was impressed by his future daughter-in-law’s moxie and vowed to fly to Florida and not return without Celeste (Eva LaRue) for the wedding!
Summer, on the other hand, pretended not to care about Kyle dancing with his fiancee, but, later, when she and Theo were stuck in the elevator, she decides to make like Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and have sex with him.
Hard To Get
Nate (Sean Dominic) was a bit put out by Abby’s behavior. Elena (Brytni Sarpy) urged him to play hard to get and got him to leave with her — which Abby definitely notices.
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) promised to stall Adam’s (Mark Grossman) accusation of assault, while Victoria (Amelia Heinle) told Adam if he kept upsetting Christian — like by, you know, telling the boy he’s his father — she’d report him to the court.
Meanwhile, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) told Connor that Adam is alive and, like the Newman that he is, Connor demanded to see his dad – now! Chelsea tried to call, but Adam wasn’t home. Connor pouted.
So Chelsea, who had no trouble in the past manipulating grown men, buckled in the face of her kid and took Connor over to Adam’s. Adam was thrilled. Connor wanted to spend the night and Chelsea said he could — and she would, too. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
