The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, January 4 features Victoria and her most recent kisses, one with Billy… and one with Cane. Also, Nikki came to a decision against everyone’s advice, and Kerry wasn’t thrilled to learn more about Jack.
Kiss and Tell
Hey, remember when Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) swore never to mention their spontaneous kiss to anyone? Cane waited about a day before telling Jill (Jess Walton).
He didn’t mention the woman by name but said it’s a woman he loathes. Cane wanted to confess to Lily (Christel Khalil), but Jill broke him of such a stupid plan. Lily doesn’t need to be sitting in prison wondering what Cane is doing – with whom?
Victoria also told her therapist, agreeing that she hates the guy. She admitted that she can’t trust her instincts anymore, and, when Billy (Jason Thompson) once again proclaimed his love, she insisted they can’t do this again. Billy suggested they go slowly.
Mother Knows Best
Victoria talked Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) out of confessing to JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder, pointing out that Victor (Eric Braeden) won’t be convicted. Is he ever? For anything?
Nikki agreed to think a little more about it but then checked herself out of the hospital against Nate’s (Brooks Darnell) advice and headed straight for her husband’s prison cell.
Kerry (Alice Hunter) and Jack (Peter Bergman) returned from Bora Bora giddy with happiness. Jill stopped by and she and Jack mended fences over the whole his son raided her ex-husband’s grave issue.
Jack introduced Kerry to Jill, explaining that she’s his dad’s former wife and Billy’s mother. Oh, and, yeah, he and Jill may have not exactly always been platonic friends.
Kerry looked concerned. Does this genius chemist not know how to use Google? She could have found out all this before heading off to the tropics.
