The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, July 18 features Cane reaching out to Traci, Rey urging Lola to spy on Kyle, Abby having a proposal for Phyllis, Devon asking a question of Elena, and Jack reconnecting with Ashley.
What Happens in NYC, Stays In NYC
Cane (Daniel Goddard) suggested he and Traci (Beth Maitland) explore what this “thing” between them was, and where it might lead. Traci said they’re great friends and will stay that way when they return to Genoa City. Uhm…OK.
Speaking Of NYC
Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) interaction with Theo made Lola (Sasha Calle) wonder about Kyle’s past in The Big Apple. She asked him and he said he was a rich, spoiled, trust fund brat. Nothing original for New York…or anywhere, really. Lola voiced her concerns (she called it curiosity) to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). He urged her to investigate Kyle’s past.
Rey is a private investigator. What else would he say? When you’ve got a PI license, every problem is a deep, dark secret.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) suggested opening a branch of Society in Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) knew the hotel. Phyllis pointed out that Nick (Joshua Morrow) won’t be happy about it. Abby didn’t care.
Abby also invited Nate (Sean Dominic) to the Newman family dinner as her date. She was sure Victor (Eric Braeden) will be happy about it. She said she thinks he likes Nate more than her! Poor Abby.
Devon (Bryton James) asked Elena (Brytani Sarpy) to move in with him, or at least into his bedroom since they already live together. She says let’s talk about it. They talked about it. She says, yes. Uhm…OK.
Jack (Peter Bergman) visited Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in Paris. They had lunch. Ashley told Jack he’s so used to putting out fires, he doesn’t know how to relax. They hugged, went to eat chocolate mousse. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
