The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, August 5, 2019, saw Adam planned a major change in his relationship with Christian, while Kyle – and Phyllis – put Theo on notice, and Billy continued to spiral downwards.
This Changes Everything….
Adam (Mark Grossman) reminded Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) that he worked for Adam now. And, once he became District Attorney, he’ll be even more in Adam’s pocket. So that was something to look forward to. Nick (Joshua Morrow) figured out what was going on and told Michael that anything that happens with Christian, will be his fault.
Adam told Nick he had a visit scheduled with Christian in the park this afternoon, and that he planned to tell the boy who his real father was. Nick rushed over – in violation of a court order – just as Adam was dropping the bombshell on Christian.
Stop and Theo
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) tried to buy The Grand Pheonix from Adam, but he won’t meet her price. He did offer her a higher one, though. Next, she told Theo (Nic Luken) that she loves his social media style… but was a bit less pleased about him dating Summer (Hunter King).

Kyle was also not pleased that Theo made him sound bad to Celeste (Eva LaRue). Noah reminded him that he didn’t tell everything – Kyle should be grateful. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) suggested throwing Kyle and Lola (Sasha Calle) a joint bachelor and bachelor party.
Mr. Bill
Billy (Jason Thompson) accused Adam of breaking in and planting the Delia doll in his bed. Adam denied everything. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) agreed that it wasn’t like Adam. The two managed to have yet another conversation where the fact that Chelsea was Johnny’s biological mother doesn’t come up. Does Chelsea have no interest in the boy whatsoever?
Finally, Billy continued to hear voices, fought sleep… and drunk. Not a good combo. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
