The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, May 27 features the Newman kids running to Daddy as Daddy becomes more and more amused.
Adam’s (Mark Grossman) list of demands had Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) fuming. Nick feared he’d lose Christian and Victoria feared for her professional career. She ran straight to Victor and asked if she’d be shut out of company decisions now that Adam is back, and, while Victor didn’t say yes, he didn’t deny it.
Victor (Eric Braeden) also got quite the chuckle when he was told his youngest son was also demanding half a billion dollars, something his siblings don’t quite have on hand.
Soon, Adam paid Victor a visit and told him he was mainly testing them with the money demand, but he does want his family back. He said he believes Christian belongs with him and told Victor he’d become a permanent fixture at Newman if his dad helped him find Chelsea and Connor.
Meanwhile, Victoria worried about the toll Adam’s return was having on Billy (Jason Thompson). And, Billy worried about Jack (Peter Bergman) and the toll having to put Dina (Marla Adams) in a home would take on his brother.
Jack just seemed to feel out of sorts with his life as Billy mentioned the “Bond Girl”, aka Kerry, his last girlfriend. He contemplated calling Lauren’s friend and asking her out.
Over at Lola (Sasha Calle) and Kyle’s (Michael Mealor)new place, Abby managed to lure Lola away on a shopping spree so that Kyle could surprise her with a new bookcase he’d have to build himself. Of course, he couldn’t build it at all and Lola came home to find Kyle wondering where the rest of the screws were.
As expected, Lola managed to put the bookcase together as Kyle said at least he managed to ace his SATs.
