The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, December 18 features Nikki taking a desperate chance – and throwing herself on JT’s mercy.
Oh, What a Tangled Web We Weave
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) begged Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to help her cover up the money she and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) stole from Jabot–by appealing to J.T. (Thad Luckinbill).
Nikki spun J.T. a sob story about how she was so desperate that she turned into Victor, but promised never to do it again. JT gave her the impression he intends to turn her in, so Nikki called Kevin and encouraged him to flee the state with Bella.
Victoria, in an attempt to take matters into her own hands, went to Victor (Eric Braeden) and told him Nikki is the culprit. This happened minutes before Victor got a call from Christine (Lauralee Bell) telling Victor that JT said no crime was committed. It was a banking error. Victor informs Victoria that he’ll fill Nikki in himself.
Jill (Jess Walton) returned to town to inform Cane (Daniel Goddard) that she intended to sell Chancellor Industries. Cane made a plea for him to continue running it.
But then Jack (Peter Bergman) made a plea for Jill to sell to Jabot, reuniting the companies run by good friends John and Kay. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) heard about her brother’s action, and called a board of directors meeting to stop him!
Still Crabby, Still Scabby
Victoria assigned Abby (Melissa Ordway) to work on a new project with Scott (Daniel Hall). Abby pouted, and made it clear to Scott that she totally doesn’t want him, is totally not attracted to him, and is totally dating tons of people – without the aid of an app. Scott said he totally feels the same way.
