Chance Chancellor is off on a secret mission on The Young and the Restless, but his portrayer, Donny Boaz, is coming back to your screens as he’s landed a role on The CW series All American.
Donny Boaz On All American
“It’s a Beautiful Sun Shiny Day in California,” Boaz posted on his Instagram account. “Happy to say I booked a few episodes on the hit #CW show ‘All American.’ Not to be confused with the greatest football movie of the last decade, ‘My All American.’ #Shameless #promotion Yes, sissy, @lonilb10 Taye Diggs is just as handsome in person. 😉 Working with @dinameyer today. I had a crush on her on #starshiptroopers #smallworld #wb #allamerican #myallamerican #california #ilovemyjob.”
Check out the Instagram post below in which Boaz shares some photos of his new workplace and co-stars. All American is inspired by the life of professional American football player Spencer Paysinger with Daniel Ezra in the lead role.
Currently, in its third season, All American was renewed for a fourth season earlier this year. This is just one of many roles that Boaz has on his plate these days. The actor’s other upcoming projects include the films One Heart, The Puzzle Jug, HOLLYWOODLAND of HOPE & LIES, College Bound: Window of Hope, The Portrait’s Secret, Billy and the Bandit, Power Play, Walk Away, Spring Break ’83, Flip Turn, and Black Easter.
Boaz appeared on YR for about a year. The actor first aired on the CBS soap opera in November 2019. During the holidays in late 2020, Chance got a mystery phone call and left town. Later, Christine (Lauralee Bell) informed Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Nina (Tricia Cast) that Chance had to go on a secret mission. Abby is proceeding with the couple’s plan to have a baby via surrogate. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is going to carry the baby and Devon (Bryton James) is the biological dad. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
