The soap stars we love and enjoy every day on daytime TV, often do other work either before, during, or during breaks. Sometimes they appear in movies, commercials, primetime, or in theater productions.

Which Soap Star Was It?

One of these amazing actresses has not only enjoyed a long career on soaps, but she also appeared on Broadway in an exciting production. Do you know which one? Read on…

Jacklyn Zeman

On General Hospital Jacklyn Zeman portrays Bobbie, Carly’s (Laura Wright) mother, and Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) grandmother. She managed to finish high school at age 15, and went on to New York University on a dance scholarship.

Although she did spend time in New York, she wasn’t on Broadway. She did, however, appear as a Playboy bunny at the Playboy Club in 1972.

Lauren Koslow

Lauren Koslow portrays Kate on Days of our Lives, and she also appeared on both The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.

In fact, this soap star was an original BB cast member portraying fashion designer Margo Lynley. While she appeared on stage in productions like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Dial M for Murder early in her career, Koslow was with a traveling theater group and not on Broadway.

Kimberlin Brown

Kimberlin Brown shocked the world when she surprisingly returned to The Bold and the Beautiful as the villainous Sheila Carter — a character fans love to hate. While she has extensive daytime credits to her name, she has not appeared in a Broadway production.

Marla Adams

When Marla Adams returned as Dina on The Young and the Restless, she sent Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) into a bit of a panic because they’d been estranged so long.

During her lively daytime career, she’s perfected the art of being a villainess. Before that, Adams appeared on Broadway in the 1958 production of The Visit. The show ran at the Morosco Theatre. Did you happen to see her in the production? Let us know in the comments section below.
