On The Young and the Restless, Summer has been obsessed with taking Billy away from Phyllis – because Billy doesn’t want her.
Summer (Hunter King) also had no interest in Kyle (Michael Mealor)… because Kyle was interested enough in Summer to make a bet that she’d get Billy into bed or she’d sleep with Kyle.
Summer lost the bet and agreed to sleep with Kyle. But, in the end, he opted out. He didn’t want her. So now… will Summer turn around and pursue Kyle? Here’s what almost 9,000 viewers expect to happen.
No doubt about it, 94% of you sigh. Summer is a hot mess and one of the biggest reasons is because she doesn’t want what she can have – and wants what she can’t.
Sure, right now Billy (Jason Thompson) is at the head of the line. But, considering the snit he went into when he figured out that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) wasn’t on board with his gambling all his money away, odds are that relationship isn’t long for this world.
So, Billy will be free soon. And, to stick it to Phyllis, he might just go ahead and let Summer seduce him.
At which point, Summer will lose interest. And go after Kyle — because she’s not merely a mess. She’s also predictable.
Been There, Done That
And then there’s the 6% of the audience that thinks Summer is better than that. You think this brat phase is just temporary.
Something terrible must have happened to Summer while she was away from Genoa City, and she’s acting out to deal with it. You’d rather find out what that was, then watch her deal with it and end up in a healthy, loving relationship. If that’s Kyle, then so be it. But, for the right reasons.
