Viewers got what they’ve been longing for when Cane and Lily finally shared a passionate kiss at the GCAC on The Young and the Restless (YR)! Is the smooch a one-time thing or just the start of a brand new beginning for the couple fans affectionately call “Lane” by fans?

Together Forever!
The majority of you, over 76%, optimistically believe that yes, this is just the beginning of a Cane (Daniel Goddard)/Lily (Christel Khalil) reunion. While Lily told Abby (Melissa Ordway) it was just a kiss and it doesn’t mean the divorce is off, you have to hope that Lily’s not about to let the man she loves walk out of her life.
While Sam is a living reminder of Juliet and Cane’s night together, the fact is that Juliet herself is gone and there are no major obstacles standing between Lily and a gainfully employed Cane.
Naughty Nanny
Well, maybe there’s one. Cane’s hired an attractive nanny to watch after Sam and that fact hasn’t gone unnoticed by many of you. In fact, 23% of you feel that a Cane/Lily reunion will be derailed by Lily’s jealousy over Bridget, the new nanny!
While Sam’s safety and care are paramount to Cane, did he really have to hire such a hottie? Still, we know very little about Bridget. Maybe she’s already involved and has no designs on mixing business with pleasure?

Au Reviour
Lily’s been asked by Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to go to Paris with Abby and stay for a bit of time. This could be a bigger deterrent to a Cane/Lily reunion than 100 hot nannies! Then again, maybe Lily’s trip to Paris is just what fans of Lane need. After all, Cane and Lily were once wed in the city of lights.
Maybe their marriage will be rekindled abroad? Y&R wouldn’t even need to spring for a remote! Fans just want to see Cane and Lily reunited!
