Abby might need to install a new security system at the Chancellor mansion or at least she should. In yesterday’s episode of The Young and the Restless, viewers saw at the top of the show and in the tag, someone looming over or watching Abby from a distance!

Who could it be? After all, Abby is universally loved — of course, that may be the problem. Either way, Soap Hub has a few theories as to the identity of this mysterious individual.
Help Wanted
Perhaps, Esther (Kate Linder) has returned to the Chancellor home because she misses it? She moved out with her daughter Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), son-in-law Kevin (Greg Rikaart), and their kids, daughter, Bella (Martie Blair), and son, Miles. While Chloe and Kevin probably don’t want to lose a live-in babysitter, Esther might be longing for the days she lived in the home belonging to her late friend and ex-employer Katherine (Jeanne Cooper).
Esther also worked for Nina (Trica Cast) for a while so she’d find a familiar face back at the house. Some feel the Chancellor mansion isn’t the same without Esther and her feather duster.

Take A Chance
Maybe it’s Chance (last played by Donny Boaz) who has come home to check in on his wife and Mariah (Camryn Grimes), the woman who’s carrying his and Abby’s baby? Abby can’t seem to locate Chance, and Christine (Lauralee Bell) only has so much information to share. Perhaps, Chance has quit his job as a law enforcement officer and has come home to await the arrival of his child. But why not simply walk in the door?
Finder Of Lost Loves
Abby’s had a lot of other love interests over the years. Maybe one of them has resurfaced so that she’s not alone during this time? Abby’s exes include Tyler (Redaric Williams), Scott (Daniel Hall), and Arturo (Jason Canela).
And let’s not forget about Abby’s former husband, Stitch (Sean Carrigan). He left town after Abby miscarried their child.
