Which of Victor’s Kids Is Most Like Him On The Young and the Restless?

Soap Opera Science: When The Young and the Restless Went Too Far
 Comments

Nothing makes Victor happier on The Young and the Restless than when people remember that his children are merely reflections on himself. But which one is the most like Daddy Dearest? What almost 2,000 fans had to say:

The Young and the Restless Polling: First Man

Almost exactly half of you, 49%, voted for Adam (Mark Grossman). Even though he was the child that spent the least amount of time with Victor (Eric Braeden), he nevertheless managed to inherit some of his worst tendencies: Including dealing with people he’s upset with by arranging to have them killed. (It used to be one of Victor’s favorite hobbies.) He also cuts family members in and out of his life just like dear old dad.

Namesake

Only 1% less, 48% of the audience, went with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). She’s the one who blackmailed Victor into handing over Newman Enterprises to her – just like Daddy would have! – and now is making business decisions based on personal vendettas. Just like Daddy!

Victor is so proud when Victoria is compared to him. Except when she goes against him. Just like Daddy would have!

His Own Man

Only 2% went with Nick (Joshua Morrow). The main similarity, besides womanizing and yelling when things don’t go his way, is how he insists on being his own person.

He walked away from Newman Enterprises to form his own company, yet goes running back to Daddy whenever he reminds him that Nick is his oldest and favorite son. So he’s a sucker for flattery. Just like Daddy!

Afterthought

Less than 1% of the fans voted for Abby (Melissa Ordway). Oh, yeah, she is Victor’s, isn’t she? At the moment, she’s just the vessel for bringing forth his latest grandchild. Let Victor know when that happens.

In the meantime, he’s going to focus on his other children, the ones who are just like him. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
