Do we need to walk a ‘Myle’ in their shoes before fans can decide whether or not there’s a future for Mariah and Kyle on The Young and the Restless (YR)?

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has had a rough year. Her relationship with Devon (Bryton James) was less than fulfilling – and not just because it was obvious he still had a thing for Hilary (Mishael Morgan). They’re now back together and having a baby.

When she fell for Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), Mariah dared dream of a happy ending. But, first, Tessa told her she didn’t feel the same way, which was her right and perfectly fine. But, then Tessa stole the words Mariah wrote about her feelings and turned them into a song. That was definitely not right or fine.

So, now Mariah is just floating through life. Enter Kyle (Michael Mealor). Last we saw him, he’d been burned by Summer (Hunter King).

And, we don’t know what happened while he was in New York. So could these two heartbroken kids make a go of it? Over 6,000 viewers voted!

Not a Match
Bad idea, 58% of you are shaking their heads. Kyle and Mariah are complete opposites in both personality and interests.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Kyle wants to be a mover and a shaker, and Mariah… doesn’t know who she wants to be yet. But it’s very likely not that. She wouldn’t understand what he’s talking about, and she wouldn’t care. Which goes both ways.

Opposites Attract
But that’s a good thing, 41% of the audience is looking on the bright side. If Kyle and Mariah were with carbon copies of themselves, they’d get bored – and boring.

Getting to know someone different and new is exciting. And, excitement is what every relationship needs. Plus, Mariah would bring Kyle down to Earth, and Kyle would teach Mariah how to think big.
