Enduring four decades, Katherine and Jill’s rivalry was like no other on The Young and the Restless (YR) or across soapdom.
Throughout the years, Jill (Jess Walton) and Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) did many things to absolutely destroy each other, and yet, somehow, when all was said and done, they shared a deep connection.
Despite often wanting to wring each other’s necks (and trying many times), the bond they had couldn’t be broken. In fact, they ended up as each other’s closest friend as unlikely as that may have seemed at times.
