After convincing most of Genoa City that he was Phillip Chancellor, III, Cane finally came clean in a major The Young and the Restless (YR) shocker!
Many people believed that Cane (Daniel Goddard) was conning Jill (Jess Walton) and the Chancellors for his own gain.
However, he pleaded with Jill and Lily (Christel Khalil) and everybody else to understand why he kept up the charade.

As Neil (Kristoff St. John), Katherine (Jeanne Cooper), Jill, and Nina (Tricia Cast) continued to berate a devastated Cane, the actual Phillip Chancellor, III (Thom Bierdz) burst in and declared that he’s the one who pulled off the DNA test switch, truly shocking everyone because they’d believed he died.
