The Young and the Restless (YR), like any soap opera, constantly has folks coming and going. But while some are gone but not forgotten, others are more of the out of sight, out of mind variety.
So who would you like to see return, and who can stay out of camera range for good? Here are the thoughts of over 3,000 fans.
Genoa City Good Guy
Quit teasing us, 56% of you scold. Even though Kevin (Greg Rikaart) left town with a presumed dead Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and their daughter, Bella, he came back to help Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) with various schemes.
So why can’t he relocate for good? Esther (Kate Linder) would love it. And, let’s be honest, how weird is it to see someone presumed deceased back in Genoa City, really?
Okay, so Colleen is a little more dead, admit 27% of the fans. Her heart is supposedly beating inside of Victor.
But that’s not an insurmountable problem. Look at Jake on General Hospital (GH). The Abbotts are loaded. So are the Newmans. One of them could have thought of something.
Not Good, Not Bad
Only 11% of the audience wants to see Colleen’s equally dead Daddy, Brad (Don Diamont), make a return appearance. (Heck, Abby barely remembers he was once her Dad, too.)
All the women he was once involved with have moved on. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) certainly has more important things on her mind, these days. There’s no room on the canvas.
And an even smaller 4% has warm and fuzzy feelings about Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). She was last seen in LA, and you’d be perfectly content to let her stay there. Sheila is a cartoon character amongst real-(ish) people, she was never a good fit for Genoa City, and she never will be.
