The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, March 1 saw Nick clean up the mess Chelsea left behind, as he made plans to move on. Plus, Nikki learned the role Victor played in the disaster and Phyllis and Sharon sparred over who’s to blame but circled the wagons to protect Nick, who received an unwelcome visitor. Plus, JT spied on Victoria and got unsolicited advice from Lily.
Grandpa Victor Makes a Grand Gesture
Victor (Eric Braeden) failed to convince Nick (Joshua Morrow) to move back to the ranch, and Nick accused his father of wanting to find Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) not for Nick’s sake, but so Victor can reclaim Conner.
Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis sparred over who hurt Nick the most, but when Nick stressed that Victor must never know about Christian’s true paternity, the pair agreed to keep his secret.
Back For Blackmail
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was furious when Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) spilled that Victor (Eric Braeden) knew about Chelsea robbing Lauren (Tracey Bregman), but protected her instead of giving Nick a head’s up.
Back at Nick’s, Nick got an unwelcome visit from Chelsea’s mom, Anita (Catherine Bach).
Anita explained that Chelsea used to send her money, and now that gravy train has dried up. Yeah, Nick doesn’t care. So Anita upped the ante. She has a video file for Christian from Chelsea. Would Nick like to see it? It’ll cost him a measly $25,000…
Spies Like Us
JT (Thad Luckinbill) is unhappy about Victoria (Amelia Heinle) calling Mac, but when Paul (Doug Davidson) asked for a progress report, JT went home to try and sneak a look at her computer (because that gambit worked so well for JT’s good pal, Billy). Victoria accused Lily of reporting to Ashley (Eileen Davidson), and JT defended her. Later, Lily told JT to remember that he and Victoria are a team.
