Everyone knows you can’t keep a good soap character down. However, in their defense, The Young and the Restless does go to that well less often than most of its peers. John Abbott may have popped up as a ghost, but he stayed dead.
And Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) death turned out to be a twin. Sure, Phillip popped up with a ridiculously lame excuse for why he let his son, mother, and stepmother mourn him for decades. But at least we don’t have to see him much now.
But if you did get to bring somebody back to Genoa City, whom would you choose? What over 17,000 had to say:
The Young and the Restless Poll Results: We Dru You A Picture
Neil (Kristoff St. John) may be dead and Lily (Christel Khalil) out of town, but Victoria Rowell returned for Kristoff’s memorial episode, which whetted the appetite of 68% of you to see her back in Genoa City — full-time and alive.
She could mix it up with Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), meet grandkids Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and offer advice to Devon (Bryton James) on the confusing state of his love life. Come home, Dru, we miss you!
That’s Too Brad
So what if he seems to be having a ball playing Dollar Bill over on sister soap, The Bold and the Beautiful? That doesn’t mean 32% of The Young and the Restless audience can’t wish for Don Diamont’s return as Brad.
Traci (Beth Maitland) needs a strong, handsome man to get her out from behind the writing desk. And remember how Nate (Sean Dominic) broke up with Abby (Melissa Ordway) because of how she put her felonious relatives ahead of him?
Maybe Nate would be happier with Abby’s original daddy. The one who isn’t Victor Newman? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
