The chemistry was instantaneous on The Young and the Restless between Bryton James and Brytni Sarpy. Recently, the couple went on the record about their on and off-screen dynamic.

The fan-favorite couple discussed their working relationship with Soaps In Depth and how well they get along away from the studio, too.
The two actors have posted many social media pictures of themselves together. While they haven’t officially announced that they’re dating, they have shared what good friends they are and how much they like working together.
Sarpy, who started her soap career as Valerie Spencer on General Hospital, says that James was very “chill and laid-back” during their screen-test. “There’s great chemistry between us!” she enthuses.
On and off the TV screen, the two actors have athletics in common. They took part in a charity event for Children’s Hospital in which participants swim, cycle, and run to help raise funds. “We didn’t compete against each other — my division was women celebrities, and Bryton was in men’s.”

James has had a few leading ladies over the years, and as far as he’s concerned, his luck is continuing with the Devon/Elena pairing. “I couldn’t feel any luckier to have Brytni as my castmate,” James happily shared. In turn, Sarpy said, “Bryton is one of the best men that I’ve met in my life, next to my dad!”
