Things are heating up for Theo on The Young and the Restless and it looks like Tyler Jonhson also has an exciting moment coming up. The actor scored a new role in a flick coming to the small screen this weekend.
Tyler Johnson Joins The Lifetime Movie Family
According to She Knows Soaps, Johnson’s new flick, Adopted in Danger, airs Sunday, January 26 on Lifetime at 8 p.m. He’ll show off his talents in this thriller portraying the role of Sean. Make sure to have your popcorn ready. This is one film you will not want to miss.
Johnson won’t be the only familiar face to daytime viewers. Soap alum Sarah Aldrich also appears. Fans may recognize her from her time on General Hospital and Port Charles as Courtney Kanelos. She also spent some time on Y&R as Victoria in 1997. Expect to also see All My Children’s Tessa Araiza (ex-Tanya).

This isn’t the first film for Tyler Johnson. Just last year he starred in such titles as The Haunting of Sharon Tate, The Matchmaker’s Playbooks, and Psycho Stripper. Later this year, fans can also look forward to seeing him in the short film Across the Room.
Don’t worry, soap fans. This star’s life in films won’t interrupt his time on the show. He only arrived on the YR scene a sort while ago but has become a solid member of the GC community. Theo is a troublemaker on the outside but a man yearning for love on the inside.
