Fans are sending heartfelt condolences to The Young and the Restless star Mishael Morgan, who recently suffered the tragic loss of her father. Now, she’s sharing her thoughts on social media as she heals and honors him.
Mishael Morgan: Touching Words
“I have been sitting with this post for a week,” Morgan, who plays attorney Amanda Sinclair on YR, “wondering what to say about the man that will forever remain the cornerstone of my heart.” The Emmy-nominated star is referring to her late father, Michael Morgan, 67, who recently passed away.
“Do I talk about my great childhood and his gentle wisdom, that will forever shape everything I am? Do I talk about his strength and unwavering love for his family, or his legacy of kindness, that has left its mark on so many others? What is fitting for the man who was my first love, my superhero, and my biggest cheerleader? A man who taught me what unconditional love was and showed me the true power of a father’s heart.
“Daddy, all that I have, is a ‘thank you’ that rises from the depths of my soul,” Morgan continued. “Thank you for loving me when I didn’t deserve it, trusting me when I didn’t trust myself, and seeing me when no one else did. Thank you for inspiring me to be the greatest version of myself, and for expecting nothing less.
