Melissa Claire Egan has been nominated for an Emmy for her work as grifter-turned-heroine Chelsea Lawson Newman on The Young and the Restless — and now she’s received another accolade, one from her alma mater, the University of North Carolina (UNC)!
The actress dropped by her former college with her mom and dad to check out the school’s Wall of Fame wall. As you can see on the Instagram post below, Egan’s photo is placed on the prestigious wall!
“Fun to stop by again and see my pic…” Egan wrote on her social media post. The Y&R actress isn’t the only famous acting alumni from UNC either. One follower inquired about the positioning of the photo belonging to TV legend Andy Griffith (The Andy Griffith Show; Matlock), who attended UNC.
