Doug Davidson has faced some of life’s highs and lows, recently. He returned to The Young And The Restless as Paul earlier this year but recently suffered a loss, one that’s brought sadness to his life.
The Emmy-winning star, who is in his 41st year as Paul on YR, took to social media to let his followers know that his beloved cat has passed away.
“We lost our boy to cancer on Wednesday,” Davidson posted along with a photograph of his dear pet, posted below. “He was a brilliant soul who helped me through some incredibly difficult times. May God rest his soul.”
Along with his fans and followers, who posted well-wishes and sympathies, fellow daytime stars also shared their condolences with Davidson including Jessica Collins (ex-Avery, YR), Hudson West (Jake, GH), and Michele Val Jean, a writer for The Bold And The Beautiful.
