He’s been married quite a few times on The Young and the Restless, but in real-life Doug Davidson is a one-woman man! The actor recently celebrated a marital milestone!
Davidson, who just celebrated 40 years as Paul Williams on Y&R, has been married to his wife Cindy for 34 years!
The actor celebrated this anniversary this past weekend and marked the milestone with a tweeted wedding pic of him and his bride on their special day!
Davidson made his Y&R debut in 1978. He was discovered in the CBS Television City parking lot by then-producer John Conboy. When Y&R expanded to an hour, the show gave Paul a family, and for years, the Williams clan was a staple on the show.
Paul started out as a troubled teen , but soon emerged as Genoa City’s leading good guy, working as a private eye and taking on assignments like going undercover to expose the mob and rescuing his beloved Lauren from being buried alive!
The George Rawlins murder mystery, which Davidson’s Paul was at the center, was instrumental in catapulting Y&R to the number one spot in December 1988, a position it has held as daytime TV’s top drama ever since.
On-screen, Paul’s been wed to April Stevens (Cynthia Jordan), Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman), Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell), and Isabella Brana (Eva Longoria).

Davidson met his wife, Cindy, when she appeared as Rebecca on Y&R. Together, they have two children, a daughter, Calyssa, and a son, Caden.
