The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal what could be the end of an era. It looks like Victor and Nikki are throwing in the towel and closing the door on their life together.
Nikki’s Cutting Ties
Victor (Eric Braeden) has fought hard to redeem himself after all the lies that led to Adam’s death, but it isn’t enough.
It’s perhaps the worst thing Victor has ever done and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) just can’t look at him the same way anymore. He’s not the man she fell in love with and he’ll never be the person she wed.
No Longer Mr. Right
While this isn’t the first time the couple has called it quits, it looks like it’s the last. Nikki’s health is deteriorating and she doesn’t want to be stuck in an unhappy and unhealthy marriage anymore.
It’s too exhausting for her to keep up the appearance when her heart just isn’t in it.

It’s with a heavy heart that Victor finally faces the truth. He went too far and he’ll never bounce back from this tragedy.
It’s put a strain on all his relationships and it’s time he steps back and walks away. He even offers to allow the family to go public with the breakup and stop hiding the truth.
A New Life?
Victor’s self-centered ways may be Nikki’s official reason for hitting the brakes, but is that only an excuse?
Her kiss with Jack (Peter Bergman) may be the icing on the cake. Their chemistry is heating up and she could reclaim her Mrs. Abbott title before the year is over.
