The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal Mariah making the most important move of her entire life. She finally breaks down her barriers, bares her soul, and speaks her truth.
Like Night and Day
A change in Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has Sharon (Sharon Case) worried sick. She knows what heartbreak looks like and she’s sure her daughter is suffering deeply. Mariah’s normally snarky and fun disposition has been replaced by a woman who’s wallowing in self-pity.
Mariah Spills Everything
Sharon sits Mariah down for a heart to heart and gently peels back the layers to get to the truth. Through tears and shaky breaths Mariah admits she’s not really in love with Devon. She’s actually fallen for someone else – her own brother’s girlfriend.
Coming out with this truth is one of the hardest things Mariah’s ever done in her entire life. Saying the words aloud changes everything. It makes her situation real and her turmoil even more heartwrenching.Unfortunately, this isn’t even the worst part of Mariah’s day.
Telling Tessa
With Sharon in the know, it’s time for Mariah to make her next move. At her mother’s urging, she calls Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and asks to meet up.
It’s the moment of truth that’ll make or break Mariah’s entire future.

Mariah Bears Her Soul
Mariah tears down her walls and admits what they both already know. She knows the timing is bad and she knows where Tessa is in her life but she can’t help the way she feels.
She’s head over heels in love with Tessa and knows deep down Tessa feels something too.
Conditional Love
Sadly, Mariah isn’t going to get the answer she’s hoping for.
Yes, Tessa has feelings for Mariah and the kiss they shared was a defining moment for both of them, but she’s not in the same place. Tessa loves Mariah too, but only as a friend.
It’s a crushing blow and Mariah may never recover.
