Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) life has been a roller coaster of emotion of late. Between his pending divorce from Lily, Juliet’s death, and Sam’s birth his head is spinning.
He hasn’t had much of a break from the drama and it’s really starting to wear him down. Unfortunately, it’s about to get much, much worse.
Sam’s Health Is Worsening By The Day
His preemie hasn’t had an easy life so far with one complication after another. In fact, the little one is so small and sickly his dad can’t even hold him. It’s a rough go with no real end in sight.

A call from the doctor has Cane rushing to the hospital to be by his tiny boy’s side. With the newborn being diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arterois any call from his doc can’t be good. Poor Cane has to steal himself for more bad news and try to hold himself together.
This News Will Change Everything
Cane better muster all his strength because this sit down with the pediatrician could be such a shock to his system from which he’ll never recover. Hopefully, he’ll have people who will stick close by his side as he navigates these heartwrenching days and tries to come out the other side.
Baby No Show
Y&R fans worry Sam’s future isn’t bright. The tiny tot has yet to make his debut appearance and there haven’t even been shots of the little one in the NICU. Could the show doesn’t want viewers to get too attached because Cane will lose him, too?
