They kind of danced around each, but then the flirtation went absolutely nowhere. It’s a shame because Cane (Daniel Goddard) loves… money. He just was – or wasn’t – that part isn’t exactly known, in cahoots with his dad, Colin (Tristan Rogers), to steal Devon’s (Bryton James) stockpile. Cane would have liked being a member of the Abbott family. But, wait, all is not lost!

Traci (Beth Maitland) has a sister. An older, cooler, more self-confident sister. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) would have no qualms about being seen dating a younger man. Ashley likes younger men. There was Ravi (Abhu Sinhi), who was loads of fun before he fell off the face of the earth.

And there was Stitch – who also happened to be married to Ashley’s daughter, Abby (Melissa Ordway). And then there’s the example of Ashley’s mother, Dina (Marla Adams), who once competed with Ashley for the same man, and, later, told her daughter that young men are the best. They ask for so little and are so grateful for whatever crumbs you throw their way.
Cane and Asley — Trucks Full of C(ash)
Cane, as we may have mentioned above, enjoys the high-flying lifestyle. Ashley flies back and forth constantly between Genoa City and Paris. Cane could live with that. Ashley runs a major cosmetics company, with plenty of glamour and opportunities for partying. Cane could live with that.
Cane was worried about paying Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) school tuition. Ashley could take care of that. She’s also beautiful. So what’s not to like?
