The Young and the Restless spoilers show Chelsea having Adam’s near-full attention. He’s being very attentive to his fiancé, a recent stroke victim. But how long will that last before he refocuses his attention on newlywed Sharon?

Since Melissa Claire Egan’s debut on YR a decade ago, viewers have known her character to be a con artist. She’s lied about a lot of things and even uprooted her entire life in order to run away from Genoa City, having absconded with a lot of cash. Conning is in her blood!
So, will Chelsea come clean if she regains the use of her faculties? Or will she use her condition to keep Adam (Mark Grossman) close to home? If this scenario comes to pass, a few factors will play into how successful Chelsea might be in fooling Adam (Mark Grossman).
First, Chelsea will have to remain certain that Sharon’s (Sharon Case) a genuine threat to her relationship with Adam. We’ve already heard via Chelsea’s inner voice that she really doesn’t like Adam’s ex hanging around. Sure, Sharon’s happily wed to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), but Chelsea would be happy if Sharon and Adam never saw each other again!

Someone else Chelsea should be aware of is her helpful doctor, Lena Cavett (Dana Sparks). Tricking Adam into thinking she can’t move again (if and when that happens) would be one thing, but how could Chelsea convince her private doc to keep her private secrets?
After all, Lena specializes in helping stroke patients recover. She’s got a stake in all of this. Chelsea could always try to bribe or blackmail her doctor? Otherwise, Lena may feel compelled to let Adam know that Chelsea’s getting better!
Whether Chelsea lets Adam in on a potential recovery right away or not may not be the issue. Chelsea can’t ‘con’ her way in between Adam and his heart. If he truly wants a future with Sharon, then there’s nothing that’s going to stop him. But it could be very dramatic watching her try! Stay tuned to see what happens.
