Billy’s gambling addiction is out of control and hurting not only Jabot Cosmetics but also his own well-being on The Young and the Restless. His loved ones are stepping up and are staging an intervention to help him before things get worse!

Both Jess Walton (Jill) and Beth Maitland (Traci) are returning to the show for a visit and now it’s easy to see why! Both Jill and Traci care deeply for Billy (Jason Thompson) and want him to get the help he needs.

If Billy needs to step down as CEO of Jabot, there are a handful of candidates who could replace him, among them, Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Kyle (Michael Mealor), and Traci.

However, according to published reports, Traci will have anxiety over making her half-brother feel that he’s been backed into a corner. She’s also never run a big company like Jabot (or any other business!) so she’s not sure she can step up and take the helm.

But Traci would bring some balance and a rational approach to things so there are some benefits to her being put in charge.

Billy’s certainly going to feel outnumbered. A lot of people are going to show up for his intervention. In addition to Jill, Ashley, and Traci, the “guest list” includes Jack (Peter Bergman), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni).

Usually, intervention subjects want to bolt once they feel like they’re being ganged up on, so don’t be surprised if Billy tries to leave. But his loved ones want only the best for him so they’ll do their best to get him to stay and listen to reason. Some, however, have their own agendas and those secrets may come to light during the intervention!

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
