The Young and the Restless spoilers breakdown for Friday, October 5 promises a day of heartbreak and life-changing consequences in Genoa City.
Sharon Goes Ballistic
The wedding is off and nothing Nick (Joshua Morrow) can say or do will change Sharon’s (Sharon Case) mind. She’s done with his lies, cheating, and controlling their lives.
Tears reveal she’s reached the end of her rope and isn’t above getting physical to make Nick go away. She wants him out of her house and out of her life – for good!
The bombshell doesn’t just ruin their marriage, it ruins their family. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) doesn’t take any of it well and has it out with both her parents.
Their constant misery is just too much. She warned them this would fall apart, and it did – AGAIN.
Silver Linings
The breakup does serve two people well. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) can’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.

Sharon came close to spilling all about JT’s murder, but there’s no way she’ll turn to Nick for anything now. Their secret is safe, at least for the moment.
The wedding disaster also brings Noah (Robert Adamson) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) closer. The siblings band together to take care of the kids and give them some breathing room.
Spoilers show it’ll lead them to have a long overdue talk about Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).
Noah’s not hurt by the relationship and lets his sister off the hook. But, he warns her to stay on alert. Tessa lied, stole, and hurt them once before and he’s sure she’ll do it again.

Not off the hook is Phyllis. Spoilers reveal Billy dumps her right there on the spot. In fact, he won’t just break up with her, he’ll kick her out on the street too.
