The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Dylan may be safe with his secret new life but to stay that way Paul, Sharon, and Nikki have to cover up why he left.
What Do We Say?
While Sharon’s (Sharon Case) first thought is to fake his funeral, Paul (Doug Davidson) doesn’t want to go that far.
Attending the fake wake for his son would be too much of an emotional burden for all of them. Instead, he thinks he has the answer and hopes Sharon and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will play along.
It’s Sharon’s Fault!
Paul wants Sharon to take the heat for his son skipping town. Dylan’s life in Genoa City was always under a dark cloud. His relationships always fell apart and neither did his ability to hold onto a child.

First Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tries to lie to him about Connor and then Sharon didn’t tell him the truth about Christian.
It wouldn’t be unreasonable for him to want to walk away and leave this chapter of his life behind.
