The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 9, 2019, promise Jack stepping up when things get overheated, Nate seeing a different side of Abby, and Victoria backing Adam into a corner.
Break It Up
What started with a cute song by Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) on the ukulele, complete with Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) baby photos, ended with Kyle ordering Theo (Nic Lucan) to keep quiet about a certain 17-year-old girl back in New York who almost died, and Summer (Hunter King) dumping a pitcher of water over Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) head while the pair screeched about who was the bigger loser in love. OK, children, that’s enough. Jack (Peter Bergman) is a grown-up, and he’s here to bring back the happy party atmosphere. Or else.
Watching You
Meanwhile, Nate (Sean Dominic), who was already confused over the mixed messages Abby was sending him, got a chance to see the woman he thought he was getting to know – and hooking up with – in a whole new light. Does he really want to sign up for all this drama? The guy’s a doctor. Maybe he can prescribe something to calm her down, first.

My House, My Rules
There is no love lost between Adam (Mark Grossman) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). But, guess what? If Adam wants to see Christian, he’s got to go through Victoria. And she’s made it clear Nick (Joshua Morrow) will be getting first dibs.
So Adam can go on provoking his siblings, or he’d better start playing nice if he wants access to Christian. This puts Adam right where Victoria wants him. Will he go along, or does he have something else up his sleeve? It’s Adam. Even shirtless, his sleeves are full of it. And so is he. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.
