The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, April 23, 2020, features Adam dealing with Victor’s revelation, while Victor railed at Nikki and Victoria. Also, Mariah and Theo connected, and Lily noticed the connection between Billy and Amanda.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) realized that Victor (Eric Braeden) told Adam (Mark Grossman) about killing AJ and taunted her brother. He didn’t believe it was true.
When Adam told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) the story, she had a moment where it looks like she does believe it. Adam was displeased. Where’s the woman who worships him and all he does? Chelsea would only say they’ll make sure Connor (Judah Mackey) never learns of this.
Victor: The Blame Game
Victor was furious at Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for telling Victoria about Adam’s crime and pointed out that he expected Nikki to be more empathetic. After all, she killed someone as a kid, too. Nikki has no empathy when it comes to the guy who was mean to her babies.

Victor was also angry at Victoria for telling her brother. Victoria pointed out she was fighting back. Victor gave Victoria her job back as CEO of Newman Enterprises but told her she’s lost his respect. Victoria shrugged and hightails it back to the office, where she, once again, sat in the big chair.
Moms the Word
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) told Theo (Tyler Johnson) about Sharon’s (Sharon Case) breast cancer. Theo revealed his mom was sick, too. They bonded over being bad people who have seen the light and decided to reform their ways.
Later, Theo eavesdropped on Billy (Jason Thompson), Lily (Christel Khalil), and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) discussing the new Chancellor Enterprises subsidiary and how they want a young, fresh voice. That’s Theo’s specialty!
Meanwhile, Lily noticed the chemistry between Billy and Amanda. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
