The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, July 23 shocks viewers by showing that Adam Newman is afraid of Victoria Newman, that Elena Dawson isn’t intimidated by Imani Benedict, and that Lily Winters is really easy to wear out.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
After supporting Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) on his return trip to New York, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) pushed back on Adam’s (Mark Grossman) accusation that she was using the terminally ill man.
When Victoria refused to so much as flinch at his taunting, Adam flashed back to a dream he had, where Victoria told him he was the one who drove her to this level of ruthlessness.
Ruh-roh! Adam has an idea he’d like to run past Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Later, Victoria found a passed-out Ashland. But a glass of water soon pepped him right up.
Y&R Recap: Stay at Home Mom
Little Johnny Abbott asked Lily (Christel Khalil) about Mommy’s sick, new friend, Ashland. Lily reassured him. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) came home from work with flowers to find Lily passed out, exhausted after having spent a few hours playing cards with a 10-year-old boy. What a lightweight!
Billy, in turn, was exhausted from having lectured Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about her ongoing friendship with Adam. Adam exhausted Sharon by, once again, reminding her that she felt more drawn to him…than to her husband.
Young and the Restless: On the Other Side Of Town
Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) tried to flirt with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Elena (Brytni Sarpy) dismissed her without so much as raising an eyebrow. Nate remained clueless.
Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) returned to town and admitted she didn’t kill Richard. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) called District Attorney Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) to take her statement. Uhm… at a restaurant? That doesn’t seem very official.
