The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, October 2, 2019, features Nick constantly trying to explain his reasons for lying about Victor being dead — but no one wanted to hear it.
Nikki, on the other hand, thought a nice family dinner will fix everything. Plus, Mariah pushed Sharon and Rey back together, and Jack handed over Jabot to play Hemingway.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Summer and Chelsea continued being furious at Nick and Victor for not trusting her with the truth. She bonded with Connor, who was glad to know his grandfather was alive, but sad that his father still left town.
To fix this all, Nikki decided to call a family dinner and that’s sure to have some fireworks. Will Adam (Mark Grossman) return from Vegas for this shindig and crash the party?
The Things That Newmans Do
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Sharon had a confab after Sharon called Faith to make sure she was ok. Sharon thought both Faith and Noah (Robert Adamson) were keeping their distance from Genoa City because of the games Newmans play.
Mariah responded by pushing Sharon towards Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Rey was angry — with Paul (Doug Davidson), for a change — for not telling him he knew Victor was alive. Paul, for his part, was mad at Victor for letting Adam leave town. Nikki reminded Victor it doesn’t matter — he’s wonderful.
The Young and the Restless Recap: Take the Reins
Jack (Peter Bergman) told Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Billy (Jason Thompson) that he will no longer be handling day to day operations at Jabot. The two of them are in charge.
Yes, the kid who not so long ago was plotting with Victor against his own family, and the guy who admits he skipped rehab for a mental breakdown. Jack is off to write a book! Traci (Beth Maitland) will do the easy plotting, editing, and typing part. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
