The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, July 13 finds Victor Newman under the impression that his opinion matters, the Genoa City Police Department wasting resources, Billy Abbott taking the high road, and Imani Benedict – and her grandpa Sutton – going low.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) gives Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) permission to take Conner (Judah Mackey) with her when she travels out of town to take care of her mother. Then Victor (Eric Braeden) comes stomping in, smoke blowing out of his ears, to announce that he is the head of the Newman family, and he will not allow this! You got that?

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) steps in to say it’s OK, he will be Chelsea’s personal escort for the duration of her trip. We hope the GCPD is at least billing the high and mighty Newmans for this incredible expenditure of public funds.

Y&R: Viral Video

The video that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) asked Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to shoot of Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) ailing, then claimed she deleted, somehow ends up on the Internet. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wants to run it, but Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) says, no! They are principled journalists!

What do you think? Post a comment!

Billy eventually sees things her way. But rushes right over to tell Ashland what a good boy he is – and that there is still an offer on the table for them to merge their companies…which would mean leaving Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in the dust. Ashland promises an announcement tomorrow.

Young and Restless: Three Is a Crows

Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) flirts with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in front of Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). Tacky. Later, Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) tries to get Imani and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to reveal their strategy for defending Naya (Ptosha Storey). They deny. He threatens. Even tackier.
