The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, June 4, 2021, puts Victor and Nikki front and center, complete with vintage flashbacks! Plus, Ashland has a deal for Tara which makes Kyle cranky, and Naya has concerns about Amanda acting as Sutton’s lawyer.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
It’s Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) birthday, and Victor has a few small gifts for her – which include a new horse. To go with the dozen she already has? But the real gift is for fans, as we get to see a flashback to when the stripper met the mogul… and he pretended to be the butler. Why soaps are the best thing ever. When we do flashbacks, they’re real flashbacks – not actors in ridiculous young person make-up and costumes.
Take Or Leave It
Ashland (Richard Burgi) has an offer for Tara (Elizabeth Leiner): He’ll agree to share custody of Harrison with her if she cuts Kyle (Michael Mealor) out of Harrison’s life completely. Kyle is immediately against it!
Doesn’t Tara care what this will mean for Kyle’s fragile feelings? Isn’t it more important that he be happy than that a child is spared the parents he loves fighting over him and possibly losing one or the other? Priorities, woman!
Kyle goes crying to Summer (Hunter King) – who still blames Sally (Courtney Hope) for all their problems. Her attempt at concern is as weak as her agreeing that Kyle should fight for the boy.
In Too Deep
Naya (Ptosha Storey) admits that Rick tried to contact her after he tracked down the babies she gave up for adoption. But she wouldn’t speak to him.
Later, she tells Devon (Bryton James) she thinks Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is being too strongly affected by this case. Meanwhile, Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) is moving in. Is the entire family plotting against Amanda? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
