The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 27, 2020 kick off a week of vintage Newman family episodes with a truly historic moment. On August 30, 1994, Victor told Nikki that she shouldn’t meddle in Victoria’s business! This, of course, doesn’t stop Nikki from doing so. Or stop Victor from giving Nick advice when life doesn’t go his way. Also, Dru has an obvious soap problem that she needs Olivia to spell out for her.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victoria (Heather Tom) went to New York with a man Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) did not know and she didn’t tell Nikki what she was doing there. This, Nikki, cannot stand for!
Victor (Eric Braeden), of all people, talks Nikki down, insisting their daughter is an adult and they should let her have her own life. Is it any surprise Nikki is confused?
Victor questions Cole (J. Eddie Peck), who keeps mum. Victoria, in the meantime, tells Ryan (Scott Reeves) that she posed for a nude centerfold, but her husband stopped its publication. Stupid Cole, Victoria pouts, she really wanted to embarrass Victor. By stripping naked.
Maybe Nikki is right. Maybe that child is way too immature to be making her own life decisions.
Punching Above Your Weight Class
Nick (Joshua Morrow) has a thing for Sharon (Sharon Case). Shame she has a boyfriend. Nick and Matt almost come to blows, but Nick backs off. Not because he has sense and self-control, but because he doesn’t know how to fight. Nick goes to Victor for lessons. Dad is happy to oblige. (Explains why, a few weeks ago, we watched Victor give Kindergartner Adam a set of boxing gloves early. He doesn’t want another wimp for a son.)
Dru (Victoria Rowell) is tired, always hungry, and fainted the other day. She also just accidentally slept with her brother-in-law. What could her illness be, oh, WHAT could it be? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
