The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, April 20, 2021, continues the debate over who will end up with Ashland’s communication company, who killed Amanda’s father, where Elena stands with Nate, and why Mariah thought pregnancy would be fun.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was beaming because Billy (Jason Thompson) sent her flowers. Lily (Christel Khalil) worried that Victoria would see it as a romantic gesture, but Billy assured her Victoria would understand it was merely congratulations for her getting the best of Victor (Eric Braeden).

When Billy taunts Victor about it later, Victor mumbles his usual threats about how Billy Boy will be proven wrong eventually. Meanwhile, Ashland (Richard Burgi) wants another meeting with Victoria. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is afraid this is leading to a double-cross, but Victoria is confident she can handle it.

Three Generations

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) informs Sutton and Naya that she intends to defend her grandfather by painting her father as a blackmailer – who might have been breaking the law alongside Victor, who has a history of commercial bribery. Sutton doesn’t want to make an enemy of Victor. Amanda isn’t afraid. Sutton invites her to meet the rest of her family. Wow, these people are low.

Earlier, Amanda was filling Devon (Bryton James) in on her progress. Elena (Brytni Sarpy) spied them and whined to Lola (Sasha Calle) about why Amanda and Devon could get over their issues and reunite, but Elena and Nate (Sean Dominic) can’t. Lola tried to convince Nate to give Elena another chance, but he’s tired of being lied to.

Baby Making

Abby (Melissa Ordway) was delighted to tell Chance they were expecting a baby, while still complaining to Devon about how much she misses her husband. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) couldn’t eat, drink, or stand the smell of… anything. She wins the misery sweepstakes. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
