The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, August 7, 2019, had Adam calling Rey… and proclaiming his innocence when Rey realized Sharon spent the night. Plus, Billy thought Delia was communicating with him, and Phyllis looked for investors in all the wrong places, while Chelsea got closer to having it all.
Adam (Mark Grossman) called to report Nick (Joshua Morrow) assaulted him. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) reluctantly stopped by to investigate – guess in Genoa City folks don’t have to go down to the station to file a police report; they get house calls! Adam introduced Rey to his witness – Sharon (Sharon Case). Rey walked out, disgusted. Sharon blasted Adam for blowing her life up, but Adam claimed he loved her and just wanted to make her happy. Sharon noted he just said the same thing to Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). Adam claimed that was about Conner, not Chelsea. Sharon stomped out.
Meanwhile, Chelsea told Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Conner was coming home. They worried about telling him about Adam. Nick suggested they focus on their kids, and Chelsea smiled.
Talk To Me
Billy (Jason Thompson) looked worse and worse as he screamed for Delia to tell him what she needed Daddy to do. When Victoria (Amelia Heinle) invited him to watch a movie with her and the kids, he claimed he was busy at work. Billy heard his daughter crying that she was cold and then saw even more writing on the wall: Stop Adam Now. Billy assured Delia he would take care of this for her.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) looked for investors to help her buy the Grand Pheonix. Devon (Bryton James) said no. Nick said,” no, thank you.” Phyllis even hits up Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), who offered Phyllis some advice – but no cash.
