The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, February 22 features courtroom drama, a startling confession, and the walls closing in on Lola’s attacker! It was a day when everything happened leading right into the end of February sweeps.
A DA’s Dream Case
It was arraignment day for the ladies and they were in for a series of shocking bombshells. Christine (Lauralee Bell) took pleasure in seeing them squirm, especially when they learned Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was her star witness! With Red on her side, this case is pretty cut and dry.
They all plead not guilty and were stunned when bail was denied. It’s off to the jailhouse for the three women while they watched Phyllis walk free.
Rey’s On the Case
The Rosales brothers continued to worry about Lola (Sasha Calle). For Arturo (Jason Canela), that meant keeping Kyle (Michael Mealor) away. For Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), that meant catching her attacker. He was banned from the case but that didn’t stop him from going rogue.
Things take a drastic turn when Rey realized Lola was wearing Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) coat. This meant Lola wasn’t the target. But, who would attack Abby?
He also realized Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) had been acting more off than usual lately. She hid her fight with Abby, clung to his side every second she got, and is now making up over-the-top theories to throw Rey off his tracks. Her antics weren’t lost on Rey, but could he prove it?
Meanwhile, Abby and Mia decided to put their differences aside and start again. They needed to bury the hatchet, at least for now, for Lola’s sake.
PS, I Love You
Kyle (Michael Mealor) spent his morning trying to get to Lola, and his afternoon trying to get away from Summer (Hunter King). She tracked him down at the office and forced him to listen to her blubbering profession of love.
