The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, November 29, 2019, features the many sides of Thanksgiving, as the Newmans play at happy family, Elena uses family as an excuse, and Phyllis may have tangled with the wrong relations.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) hosted their children and grandchildren for Thanksgiving. Except for Abby (Melissa Ordway), who was spending it with Ashley and the Abbotts. And except for Adam (Mark Grossman). Because he’s… you know… Adam.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was thankful for Billy (Jason Thompson) and their kids. Summer (Hunter King) told Victor she has mostly forgiven him for the whole playing dead thing. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) were strained, even though she did win the argument with Adam and brought Connor (Judah Mackey).
Dim Sum Fun
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) brought Chinese food by Adam’s place, and they had an unconventional dinner, where Phyllis admits she’s thankful Adam is still alive. They agreed that they both deserve to get exactly what they want.
When Chelsea returned with Connor, she saw the two wine-glasses and learned that Phyllis was there. Remembering her suspicions about Phyllis messing with The Grand Phoenix computer system, Chelsea realized she can use staying at Adam’s to also keep an eye on her nemesis. She called Nick to tell him she’ll be staying for a while. He was less than pleased.
Eating Humble Pie
While they were helping Sharon (Sharon Case) feed the homeless at Crimson Lights, Amanda (Mishael Morgan) told Nate (Sean Dominic) she’s thinking of staying in Genoa City. She also mentioned changing her phone number because of… reasons.
When Elena (Brytni Sarpy) found out, she yelled at Nate and claims he is taking Amanda’s side over his cousin Devon’s (Bryton James). Yeah, that’s totally her reason.
