The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, July 9, 2020, turn up the heat in an episode from June 2001 as part of their summer sizzling reruns.
Today, Nicholas plays Alladin to Sharon’s Jasmine, Brittany and Jill play spoilers to Mac and Billy’s love, Isabella plays homewrecker to Paul and Christine’s marriage, Alex plays temptress to Neil, and Malcolm plays Daddy to Nate… a little too well for Olivia’s taste.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) need a vacation. But with the kids and their jobs, they just don’t have the time to get away. So Nick creates an Arabian Nights fantasy for his wife. Doesn’t he know that sand gets everywhere?
Not So Fast
Billy (David Tom) loves Mac. Mac loves Billy. Hooray! All is well with the world! Except that Brittany (Lauren Woodland) still loves – or, at least, wants – Billy. And Jill (Jess Walton) still hates – or, at least… no, hates is the right – Mac. So maybe this summer romance won’t go quite as smoothly as they’re currently assuming.
Christine (Lauralee Bell) is out of town. So Paul (Doug Davidson) invites Isabella (Eva Longoria) to crash at their place. Paul Williams: Nice Guy Who Gives Everyone the Benefit Of the Doubt, or Too Stupid To Live?
Kiss and Tell
Neil (Kristoff St. John) kind of, sort of, kisses his co-worker, Alex. Good thing Victor (Eric Braeden) came in before anything inappropriate could happen. Seriously, what would Genoa City do without him?
Dad’s the Word
Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams) was quite happy when Malcolm (Shemar Moore) adopted Nate as his son after he and Olivia were married. But now that they’re splitting up, she doesn’t appreciate Malcolm still considering Nate his son… and fighting Olivia for custody. Why is it all the men in her life seem to think she’s an inadequate mother?
