The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, May 17 picks up with Kyle setting eyes on his son, Nick asking Phyllis what’s going on with their daughter, Adam threatening Chloe’s family, and Rey and Sharon putting theirs back together.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Tara (Elizabeth Lenier) burst into Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer’s (Hunter King) engagement party. She made sure Kyle got a good gander at his son, then said she needed to speak to him in private. Summer tagged along, then excused herself – so she could go blame Sally (Courtney Hope) for leading Tara to them.
Tara told Kyle that she confessed their affair to Ashland (Richard Burgi), who now wants her gone – and full custody of Harrison. Tara sniffles that the only way she can hold onto her son is for Kyle to hide them from Ashland. Doesn’t he want to protect his son?
Meanwhile, back at the party, Nick (Joshua Morrow) wants to know what Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) knows about Tara and Kyle – and how that affects Summer. Phyllis plays dumb.

Also, even though Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is the one suffering from morning sickness and other side-effects of pregnancy, she takes the time to console Abby (Melissa Ordway), who is feeling sad Chance isn’t here to give her everything she wants.
Secret Circle
Adam (Mark Grossman) makes it clear to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that he knows she helped Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) frame him. But he’ll keep it to himself – as long as she plays along.
Chelsea, at the same time, isn’t helping Michael (Christian Le Blanc) go on the record with what she did and why. Chelsea fakes some more crazy, with the help of an attorney who is also on Victor’s payroll. Chelsea thinks about how Sharon ruined her life, while Adam feels guilty for ruining Chelsea’s.
So Happy Together
Sharon apologizes to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Rey apologizes to Sharon. He comes home. Happy days! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
