The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, September 24 features a bad plan from Victor, Adam having a long and detailed conversation with thin air, Sharon denying the obvious, and Jack having an idea that he expects his sister to execute.

YR Recap Highlights

Billy (Jason Thompson) railed at Victor (Eric Braeden) that his plan has ended with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) — and not Adam (Mark Grossman) — in jail for Victor’s “murder.” Victoria came home and insisted they stick to the plan. They’ve got Adam right where they want him — and they will win!

Meanwhile, at home, Adam recalled meeting Victor when he was a tiny, adorable — and blonde — child. (And, because soaps are the greatest thing ever, we could actually see those clips, with a much younger Braeden, and Signey Coleman as Adam’s mom, Hope. Seriously, let’s see some web series match that!)

Adam asked his living room how things would have been different if Hope hadn’t made Victor promise to stay out of his life. He then swore he didn’t want Victor to die — or did he?

Helping Hand

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) tried to convince Sharon (Sharon Case) that Adam could have done what Victoria is accused of. Sharon defended the man she claimed not to have any feelings for. She later showed up at his home… because he needed her.

Whitewashing the Fence

Jack (Peter Bergman) talked to Dina (Marla Adams) and apologized for resenting her for having abandoned him, his father, and sisters. He was wrong. Dina was an amazing woman who didn’t like the life she was living and so had to go find another one. The kids were just collateral damage, and Jack was so sorry they ever held her back.

Later, he told Traci he wants to write their mother’s story. But since she’s the writer, he wanted her to do the actual, you know, work. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
