The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, December 3, 2019, features a major blackout in Genoa City, which left Amanda and Billy to getting to know watch each other, Victoria and Rey testing their skills, Phyllis and Nick to playing a game of I know you by heart, and Chelsea and Adam wondering how their lives got so screwed up.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) were strangely the only people in a bar when the lights go out. (Where’s the bartender? A waitress?) Billy did his usual whining bit about how he doesn’t know who he is, what he wants, oh, woe is him, no one has ever suffered so. Amanda chimed in that no one knows the troubles she’s seen, either.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) were thrown together and her whine was that Nick always forgives everyone… except her. They took turns telling each other what they know about the other, and Phyllis was moved by how well Nick gets her. She was about to reach out to him when the lights came back on and the spell was broken.

The blackout became all about Connor (Judah Mackey) — as most things are — when he said he was scared, and Chelsea started another aria about her son’s pain. She and Adam recalled good times and bad. She told him he’s a better dad than Victor (Eric Braeden). As if that were a competitive category.
Tool Time And Billy Time
At Newman, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuo) tried to pop the lock keeping them trapped in her office after the power went out. Rey used tools. Victoria hit it with her shoe. That worked. Rey was impressed. Victoria and Billy reunited at home, where all was suddenly well. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
