The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 23, 2020, finds Nate doing double duty. First, he bucks up Elena’s spirits about Amanda prompting Devon to remember Hilary, and then he has to comfort Amanda about what she learned about Hilary from Devon. What a guy!
Plus, Billy and Victoria decide that Chance has answers to their questions about Adam. So why doesn’t Vic see if she can get anything out of him? Meanwhile, Adams keeps secrets from Chelsea.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Elena (Brytni Sarpy) thinks she and Devon (Bryton James) have already been through the worst things any couple could go through. Anybody else would have broken up by now. They survived Neil’s (Kristof St. John) death, the temporary loss of Devon’s money (yes, she equated the two), not to mention the hard work of Elena and Nate (Sean Dominic) opening a clinic. Yeah, she clearly has no clue what other people in Genoa City have overcome.

Now, Elena worries that memories of Hilary will break up her and Devon. Nate tells her, “There, there.” Elena finds it reassuring. She takes off, leaving Nate to manage the clinic on his own. Elena comes home to Devon waiting with dinner and telling her how fantastic she is. At the same time, Amanda is telling Nate what a moving experience it was for her, watching videos of Hilary. She bursts into tears. Nate tells her, “There, there.”
Trust Me
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wants Chance (Donny Boaz) to tell her about his past with Adam (Mark Grossman). Chance declines to do so.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) wants Adam to tell her what he has planned to keep Billy (Jason Thompson) and Alyssa from exposing his past. Adam declines to do so.
