The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, April 4 features an end to Lily and Cane, a new beginning for Kyle and Summer, a blast from the past for Nick, and an accidental glimpse into the future for Sharon.
End Of The Road
Cane (Daniel Goddard) was pleased when Lily (Christel Khalil) agreed to see him. He was less pleased when she told him she’s getting out early – but she won’t be coming back to him.
Lily decided they’re stuck in a cycle of hurt, and it’s got to end. Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) would be fine, and Invisible Sam wasn’t her child anyway.
Cane blamed Billy (Jason Thompson) for all his problems. If only Billy hadn’t blabbed about Cane kissing Victoria (Amelia Heinle)!

Summer (Hunter King) played along when Dina (Marla Adams) thought she was Ashley (Eileen Daidson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) was Jack (Peter Bergman).
Kyle thanked her for it, and for helping them brainstorm ideas to promote Jabot. Summer took advantage of their closeness to ask Kyle about the pictures of Lola (Sasha Calle) on his phone. Kyle deleted them all.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) stopped by to see Sharon (Sharon Case) and was surprised to see Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) there. Sharon confirmed that they’re together. Nick offered Sharon Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) old job as head of public relations.
Does Sharon know anything about public relations, or is it just any blonde who once bore the Newman name will do? When Sharon was less than enthused, Nick told her she can handle Dark Horse’s charity work, too.
Sharon declined in order to spend more time with Rey. Which was how she finds the sonogram photo Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) left for him… Who did she buy it from?
Meanwhile, Billy hired Rebekah to consult for Jabot. She ran into Nick and they recall their last aborted date. They decided to have another one.
