The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, August 6, 2020 flashes back 15 years to a very young Lily confronting her mother and her “uncle” Malcolm while Neil is in the hospital. Plus, Victor wants to know why Nikki voted against him, as John has a similar question for Gloria.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Neil (Kristoff St. John) is in the hospital, after rescuing Devon (Bryton James), who fell into the lion’s cage. These things happen. Neil assures Devon that he doesn’t blame him and everything is fine. Because he doesn’t know what’s going on at home.
At home, Lily (Christel Khalil) has found some tests Dru (Victoria Rowell) ran… that prove to Malcolm (Shemar Moore) who Lily’s biological father is. Malcolm defends Dru and takes the blame. But Lily has plenty to go around.
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) believes she has the right to know what Dru’s test results said. Her snitch at the lab doesn’t agree.
Husbands and Wives
Victor (Eric Braeden) confronts Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about why she voted against him in Victor’s attempt to take over Jabot – and got Kay (Jeanne Cooper) to go along. Now Kay is president of Jabot, and Victor is mighty put out! Where is Nikki’s loyalty? Hey, here’s an idea, Victor. Take a good, long look at the expression on Nikki’s face when she caught you in a pow-wow with Ashley (Eileen Davidson). And may that will be your big clue about why Nikki isn’t in love with the idea of you spending more time at Jabot.
John (Jerry Douglas) has a similar question for Gloria (Judith Chapman). Why did she go to Victor with Jabot’s private business? Gloria claims she thought he’d save the company, not try to take it over. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
